Die Struck Finger plate German Embassy London
7 in stock
These are proper die struck brass fingerplates which were used at the German Embassy in London at Carlton House. In December 1945 the contents of the Embassy were taken and sold by auction. We can not for certain say if these are genuine pieces or reproductions, we do know that some American auction houses have sold these in the past as genuine. We let you decide if they are genuine or not.
If reproductions then they are still old. The cost of a die of this size is prohibitively expensive today and who has a use for such things today. More commonly found in your grandparents, or great grandparents homes than today.
We only have 10 of these and we expect them to sell quickly so avoid missing out . These measure 26cm tall and 10cm wide
PLEASE NOTE YOU WILL RECEIVE ONE FINGERPLATE. THE IMAGE IS ONLY TO SHOW YOU BOTH SIDES
