Description
In National Socialist Germany Odal rune was symbolic of the Blut und Boden (“Blood and Soil”) ideology, focusing on a concept of ethnicity based on descent and homeland. It was also the emblem of the Waffen-SS division “Prinz Eugen”, recruited from the Volksdeutsche (ethnic Germans) community in Croatia. It was also used by Reichsbauernschaft and Hitlerjugend.
Forged in the interlacing language of ancient design, this bracelet unites the endless flow of Celtic knotwork with the grounded, ancestral presence of the Odal rune at its centre.
The Celtic pattern winds without beginning or end—an eternal weave of connection and continuity. It reflects the unseen bonds that tie lives together across time: memory, spirit, and destiny braided into a single, unbroken current. There is no separation in its form, only passage—an echo of existence as something continuous rather than fragmented.
At the heart rests the Odal rune (ᛟ), a symbol of heritage, inheritance, and sacred belonging. In the old traditions, it speaks of ancestral land, of home as both origin and return, and of the deep-rooted identity carried through generations. It is the rune of what is passed down—not only in material form, but in spirit, memory, and bloodline. As a centrepiece, it anchors the design with a sense of grounding and permanence, like a fixed point within the turning wheel of time.
Together, the knotwork and the Odal rune form a quiet convergence of motion and stillness: the ever-unfolding weave of life encircling the deep-rooted essence of origin. It becomes a talisman of belonging within change, a reminder that even as all things flow onward, there is a place within us that remains whole, enduring, and returned to itself.
